Schwann's Man is here!!!!
What memories!! I remember running to the door, clawing at mom, can we get this and that and this and definitely that? Sorry mom...now that that happens to me, I can't believe how annoying I must have been. Well this one was easy for me, and it may be a surprise to most. But mini sausage biscuits were my main breakfast item for many of my high school years. I absolutely loved them!! I would get one package with one piece of cheese, quarter the cheese and have double cheese sausage biscuits. I remember how it took so long to get the microwave timing just perfect so the biscuits weren't hard, not an easy task. I miss you sausage biscuits!! I loved you...

This was a little difficult for me. I loved all of these things (except Holiday Special--sorry Pop) for various reasons. My mouth is watering just thinking about the sausage biscuits. But in the end, I could eat Jalepeno Poppers at every meal, and perhaps as the main course. I love both the cheddar and cream cheese fillings. In a perfect world, Bill and I would have no fewer than three jalepeno popper showdowns this summer, battling it out to see who could eat the most poppers in a single sitting (timed or untimed). My gastric juices are primed and ready to win!
ReplyDeleteDude, count me in on the poppers contest (just cheddar though). Joe, your sausage biscuit memories made me want them right now. I couldn't pick anything other than the marshmallow swirl though. Every time I think Schwann man, I think of those big tubs of ice cream...Mom, can I have a treat?
ReplyDeleteFor me Schwans was always about ice cream... Chocolate Marshmallow Ripple, and it was my favorite, but a second would be the chicken strips.
