Hey everybody, today is Mike's birthday. Let's celebrate by buying him his own star!!! Ok, maybe not...how about we just write down a few of your favorite Mikey memories. Looking forward to hearing them!
I think one of my favorite Mike memories was when we were together in Africa. Mike and I have always laughed a ton together! We always crack each other up and are generally pretty happy around each other. In Africa, we decided to make an "Amazing Race" video. We had a blast up on the mountain being stupid. It was just a great memory of how much fun we have together...and how dominant we would be on Amazing Race.
Some of my favorite memories of time with Mike center around Amazing Race too. While we were all together in Salatiga, Mike and Heather would come over every Wednesday for family night. Heather and I would make pizza to die for and we would all watch Amazing Race and eat pizza in the TV room. Family night was the highlight of every week and many of the inside jokes carried us through the rest of the week till we could meet again in the TV room with plates full of pizza and another episode of Amazing Race.
Touring. We connected a lot in high school and working for Budrow, but 6 months in a van and 6 months in Haiti was bonding. We talked a few weeks ago about how it was cool that we did it all as brothers, but that's when we really became friends. Part of the reason I wanted so badly to tour as a family was because of how I saw the experience grow Mikey and I together. I wish I had that with all of you.
My favorite memories are when Mike and I just hung out. We have had some pretty awesome times of just talking about life. I have really appreciated Mike for that.
My favorite times with Mike were in the weight room in Indonesia. He taught me a lot and we listened to some rocking tunes. We used to talk about all sorts of things from funny memories to serious issues we were dealing with as men. I will never forget those times. Love you Mike.
So I'm the delinquent Webb who hasn't quite gotten into the Webb blog thing...seems appropriate that my first one should be to my husband for his birthday.
Michael, we've done so many amazing things together in our 9 years together. It's hard to pick just one. We've traveled the world together and I'm so glad I get to do it (travel that is!) with you. (The other is true too, but probably not appropriate to talk about on a family blog) :o)
Probably one of my favorite times with you was our trip to the Komodo Islands. Pantai Merah remains our favorite place in the entire world and it was so fun to live on a boat with you for a couple of days.
I love you so much, and I'm so glad that God saved the best Webb just for me. Happy (belated) birthday toots.
