Happy Birthday Janell!! Good memories...
Way to go Janell, you have made it another year. I remember the first time we met, loved you from the start!! I couldn't believe that Bill would marry a girl who was so good at baseball she would give us a run for our money on the tenny ball field. I remember thinking...does she know her sweatshirt is on inside out? You are an awesome example for any of us to follow as a wonderful mom, wife, and person. I really can't wait to see you and give you a huge squeeze to make up for all the ones we've missed. As the first non-Webb to join our family, you set the bar high and showed us all what to shoot for in a spouse! Love you like crazy!!

Happy Birthday Janell! We love you and are so happy to have the time this summer to reconnect and enjoy more family time. I hope you're having a fantastic time on the college tour with Bill and the kids. Can't wait to see you guys again in a couple weeks. I completely agree with Joe that you have been a wonderful example to all of us and we are so happy you joined the Webb clan!

I remember when Bill announced the wedding being pretty protective of the Webb family unit, not a little afraid to see a change in the status quo. But I also remember a talk we had early on, when you and I kind of let it out. I definitely learned to love you right then and there. Thanks for putting up with all my 11 year-old crap, and always being such a creative and supportive influence in my life. I'm so glad you are a part of this family, and we get to be together to party like it's 1999 in just a couple weeks!

ReplyDeleteI love you, Janell. I remember when I first was accepted into the Webb clan (months before engagement and marriage) that Mike and mom started telling me about you and how much we were alike.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun it was to confuse people when we lived together in Indonesia...everyone knew we were related but no one could figure out if we were sisters or the boys were brothers!
What a blessing to be able to spend those two years together in Indonesia. You are my sister and my friend. I love you so much!
